PURPOSE:                   An attorney will be on hand to discuss the expungement process and which charges can be expunged.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their criminal record which shows the disposition of each case.  A copy of the record may be obtained from Court Archives located in the basement of the Old Jail Building at 514 West Liberty Street in Louisville.

PURPOSE:                   This event will feature an educational presentation about the risks of not paying your property tax bill timely, information about how to enter into a payment plan with Jefferson County if your property tax bill is late, and resources people can access if they have an overdue property tax bill.  Speakers will include Anne Marie Regan from the Kentucky Equal Justice Center, Terri Geraghty from the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, and John Young from the Legal Aid Society.

PURPOSE:                   Individuals will have the opportunity to work out a payment plan with the Jefferson County Attorney’s office on a current year overdue tax bill before it is sold at auction to third-party purchasers.  Individuals will also have the opportunity to speak to an attorney if their home is in danger of being foreclosed upon by a third-party purchaser and to see if they qualify for a homestead of disability exemption on their property tax bill.
