The Legal Aid Society announces dates for free legal clinics offered during the months of November and December. Prospective clients must meet federal poverty guidelines. For a family of two, a client's monthly income must be $1,400 or lower. A reservation is required. Please contact the Legal Aid Society at (502) 584-1254 to make your reservation.

WHAT: FORECLOSURE CLINIC
WHEN: Tuesday, November 11, at 11:00 AM
WHERE: Legal Aid Society office (416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).
PURPOSE: Attorneys will be on hand to answer questions about foreclosures and provide advice on alternatives to foreclosure.

WHAT: WILL CLINIC
WHEN: Monday, November 17, at 10:00 AM
WHERE: Legal Aid Society office (416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).
PURPOSE: The clinic will offer free assistance drafting wills and other life-planning documents for low-income seniors and individuals living with a disability. Call (502) 614-3166 to schedule an appointment.

PURPOSE: Attorneys will be on hand to answer questions about foreclosures and provide advice on alternatives to foreclosure.

WHAT: SMALL CLAIMS CLINIC
WHEN: Tuesday, November 18, at 3:00 PM
WHERE: Legal Aid Society office (416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).
PURPOSE: Clients are provided with the forms necessary to file a claim, and an attorney will review completed claims.

WHAT: DIVORCE CLINIC
WHEN: Wednesday, November 19, at 10:00 AM
WHERE: Legal Aid Society office (416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).
PURPOSE: Clients will receive assistance from attorneys in filling out all of the necessary paperwork to file for a divorce.

WHAT: BANKRUPTCY SEMINAR
WHEN: Thursday, November 20, at 1:00 PM
WHERE: Legal Aid Society office (416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).
PURPOSE: Legal Aid attorneys will be on hand to walk clients through the process of filing for bankruptcy. The seminar will cover issues such as required documentation, credit counseling, and the hearings that occur in bankruptcy cases.

WHAT: BANKRUPTCY SEMINAR
WHEN: Thursday, November 20, at 3:00 PM
WHERE: Legal Aid Society office (416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).
PURPOSE: Attorneys from the private bar will be present to answer questions about bankruptcy.
